Welcome to Analog Coffee, the heart of Seattle's vibrant coffee culture, nestled in the picturesque Capitol Hill neighborhood at 235 Summit Ave E. This isn’t just another coffee shop; it’s a unique experience that resonates with the spirit of creativity and community. Perfectly tucked away on a charming street, Analog Coffee captures the essence of Seattle’s laid-back yet artistic vibe.

Analog Coffee distinguishes itself not only through its rich, meticulously brewed coffee but also through the ambiance created by its eclectic decor, featuring a wall of CDs and vinyl records, along with an assortment of newspapers that infuse a sense of culture and nostalgia. According to Nico Hsieh, "the photos don’t do this place justice," and I couldn’t agree more. The soothing music and richly textured surroundings invite you to sit back and savor the moment.

From classic espressos to inventive specials, the menu is a testament to their dedication to quality. You can indulge in a meticulously crafted Espresso, or perhaps a creamy Cappuccino or Latte that is as smooth as it is energizing. If you're in the mood for something different, try their Cortado for a balanced blend of flavors, or warm yourself up with a delightful Hot Chocolate. The Cold Brew is a standout that has locals like Cold Brew Bliss raving about its perfection, making it the ideal companion for a sunny Seattle day.

While the coffee is certainly the star of the show, the culinary offerings should not be overlooked. The egg sandwiches have been hailed by Tal Belilty as some of the best in the city, demonstrating that Analog Coffee is as serious about food as it is about coffee. Complement your drink with carefully sourced pastries from Seawolf Bakery and Macrina Bakery that add to the experience, although do note some customers have wished for them to be warmed up. The inviting outdoor seating area allows you to enjoy your meal while soaking in the neighborhood's charm.

Customer experiences at Analog Coffee echo the joy of discovery that characterizes each visit. Christina McMahon, a loyal patron, describes it as her favorite cafe in Seattle, highlighting the warm vibes and excellent staff that interact with each guest in a welcoming manner. Yet, it’s not just a place to grab coffee; it’s a hub where you can immerse yourself in art, music, and conversation, encapsulating the community spirit that Seattle is known for.

What’s truly refreshing about Analog Coffee is its rotating coffee menu sourced from local roasting companies, such as Proud Mary from Portland. As noted by Kendall Mather, the staff is knowledgeable and passionate about their craft, offering a personalized touch to every cup. The unique ordering system here might initially feel different, but it aligns with their commitment to clarity and precision in coffee-making.

Whether you’re a die-hard coffee enthusiast or just looking for a cozy spot to relax, Analog Coffee promises an experience that goes beyond your average coffee run. Dive into the rich flavors, soak in the creative atmosphere, and find your new favorite spot in Seattle.

It took me a while to visit this coffee shop because when I was looking at the photos, I wasn’t sure if the vibe is the kind I like. Once I visited, I realized that the photos don’t do this place justice. There are a lot of personalities in the decor and the music that is unique but soothing. The vinyls and newspapers give a sense of culture. I got 1&1 which was a split shot of espresso that comes with a Cortado so you can taste the original flavor and then how it tastes with milk. The espresso was nutty and flavorful. This is a very nice quiet corner place coffee shop. I will definitely come again.

Just an absolutely perfect, quintessential Seattle shop. Tucked away in a charming street slightly down the hill from Broadway, it's the perfect place to grab a cold brew and enjoy the neighborhood. When we spent more time in Seattle, visiting Analog was a weekly ritual.

Analog Coffee in Capitol Hill is a coffee shop that rotates their coffee menu with local roasting companies! Today they were serving Proud Mary (Portland, OR). I spoke with the manager and co-owner, Danny, who was open to talking about their curation of ingredients: They source their pastries from Seawolf Bakery in Fremont, Macrina Bakery (multiple locations in Seattle), and their breads for sandwiches from a larger local chain called Franz Bakery. I ordered the mushroom and egg sandwich (which I get every time I come here). Vegetables are curated from Frank's Produce, an organic produce company based in Seattle, and eggs are from Wilcox farms (also local, but a very large company). Overall, I rate Analog ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐- I think they should advertise their sustainable curation more! ALSO their takeaway items are all compostable. Good job Analog and thank you Danny!

VThis place is fantastic! I had one of the best egg sandwiches I've ever had in Seattle here, and the coffee was really good too. The staff were super nice. It can get a bit busy inside, but there are some seats outside to relax and enjoy your meal. I'd definitely recommend it!

A different ordering system where you tell the barista what you want then they pass the info to the cashier. I suppose it stops errors in communication but it also disrupts the baristas concentration. It did work though and we got a great coffee. Taste 2.8 Temp 2.8 Texture 2.8 (8.6/9) Art 0,8 Total 9.6

Wonderful coffee and atmosphere, they play all their music from this huge wall of CDs and Vinyls. Only critique is that the pastries are cold and they can’t / won’t warm it up.

I’ve been coming here for a few years now and it remains my favorite cafe in Seattle. It is the quintessential neighborhood cafe with excellent vibes, music, staff, coffee and food. Seating is ideal for 1-2 people.

I really like this little coffee shop. The food is great and the drinks are even better. They have a little outdoor courtyard you can eat in as well as a bar counter inside with all the daily papers pinned up- really cool touch
